The corridor’s southern gate is high desert: granite domes above the Rio Grande gorge country, thirty minutes from Taos, where trad climbers still outnumber the bolts. It is thinner documented online than the ranges further north — a reminder that this book is a starting point for fieldwork, not the last word on any of it.
